Great family fun. Thursday's are Thrifty, hot dogs, beer, and pop for less. There's also firework nights and promotions throughout the week. The Whitecaps are a Low Class A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. But these guys win a lot! I'm sure they'll forget how to play by the time they get the call to The Show. Lots of fun games between innings, and a very extensive menu to choose from between all the concession stands.
Park is very new and clean decent atmosphere however somewhat crowded even though there is a vast number of people line weights was decently long throughout the whole game staff was very fast and efficient however walking through the stadium cause congestion due to people standing in line
Being a Grand Rapids resident I feel that I have to go to Fifth Third at some point in my life. I've been here many times since I was young for Whitecaps games and even since a young age I've enjoyed it. I have loved it even more as an adult since beer is an option. The cheap beer/hotdog night makes it even more worth it. I also have been here with someone who has a disability (quadriplegic) and they were extremely accommodating to him and to us as well.
Tickets are cheap. You can by the best seats in the house for under $20.
Great place for a baseball game! They even have a family section where there is no alcohol allowed. This is where my family always sit. I dislike having beer spilled on me or around me. Cant stand the smell of it!! Thank You Fifth Third Ballpark for providing that family section!
The Christmas light show was amazing. I have 7 kids who I took through in in a van, all for one flat fee. They added some light this year. Good stuff.
