The park itself is a bit small, but nice and clean. Hiking trails are pretty, especially in the fall, but nothing to write home about.
There's a nice large covered picnic table area that oddly I've never seen anyone use. I'm not sure why, as it seems like a great place to have a family get-together or a party. There's even power there, if you wanted to bring a small radio or something. There are charcoal grills near by, of the extra large variety, so you could certainly feed a pretty large group of people. Could roast a pig on that thing.
This park is great for a picnic, a walk on the trail, or a place for the kids to run around and burn off some energy.
This playground equipment is first-rate, and really well maintained. There's something to do for all ages, even the two-year-old crowd, with a few bouncy animals, and swings with backs. There's some lower to the ground stuff as well if you want to let your younger one explore on their own without worrying they'll fall 12 feet.
Definitely worth checking out!
The mountain bike trails are definitely the big draw here, with lots of windy ledges and fun bridges, and a couple high speed straightaway sections. The flow trails are fantastic, i just wish they were a tad longer. Don't recommend after heavy rainfall, unless you like ruts and washouts.
Perfect park to have a picnic. Great playground for kids with shelter, grills, picnic tables etc. Good hiking and single track mountain biking through wooded areas. Hiking trail leads to a nice overlook and meadow. Hiking trail also goes through forested areas and along a creek. Beautiful county park!
The playground has plenty for our children (ranging from 4yr to 7yr old) to be entertained with. Bathrooms are clean. The walking trails are fun but we haven't tried the bike trails yet. Good amount of parking and two pavilions that can be reserved.
There are some nice trails around the park, and a smattering of picnic tables throughout if you wanted to have a low-key picnic away from other people. The bathroom facilities are clean and located close to the playground and the main picnic area.
This is an excellent place to hike or mountain bike. The mountain bike trail is a 6.5 mile loop with a nice flow track mid-way through.
